Mark Stephens AWMA
As a financial advisor, Mark’s mission is to help people get more out of their money, take the guesswork out of investing, and help manage financial risks.
Mark believes that financial planning is a life-long, personal process that you create and adapt based on your needs, your values, and your unique situation. It is through such a process that you can work toward pursuing the aspirations that are most important to you.
Mark also holds the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor certification.
Mark has worked in the financial services profession since 2002. Before that, he spent 7 years playing as a professional baseball player. Mark’s approach centers largely on client education and interaction. This approach allows clients to be part of the team rather than bystanders. Mark utilizes his experience to develop strategies that focus on managing the risk from market volatility, customizing portfolios designed to match individual goals and constraints, and assisting clients with life’s many unknowns as they arise.
Mark focuses on financial planning and portfolio analysis with families, business owners, legal settlement and inheritance recipients, and professional athletes/entertainers. He also works with companies offering corporate retirement plans and pre-retirement planning
for existing employees.
Mark believes strongly in serving his community. He has been a volunteer for Junior Achievement, Children’s Miracle Network, Michigan Dental Association Foundation, his local Inter School Advisory Council, and the Safe Path to School program. He also volunteers as a speaker to young student-athletes at the high school and college levels.
Mark enjoys coaching baseball and spending time with his wife of 30-plus years and their three sons. They reside in the city of Rockford, MI.
